    One thing I was thinking, I criticised Southgate for letting Italy back in to that final. Didn't see them off when they were all at sea, bottled it. But one thing I do like about him is his teams easily beat the teams they are expected to easily beat. How many times over the years have England struggled to win by 1 or 2 by absolute ****e teams?

    Very good performance. Team play excellent, individuals look full of confidence. Credit Southgate, who gets all kinds of stick for who knows what, because he has created a team that looks more like a club side. Tougher tests to come hopefully, but dont underestimate Iran, we made them look second rate with the way we played.

    Enough said about VAR. Pathetic.

    VAR really is a joke. Not giving the blatant penalty for England in the 1st half, then that soft one for Iran. Either give both of them, or neither of them. This inconsistency cannot continue (except that it will)
