That's a very attacking line up, given Villa's strikers, but maybe thier midfield is not firing so could be a great move. Anyone know of a reliable stream?
Bennetts width gives him the edge, as said above it's a very attacking line up and 100% intentional to look for the early goals. Should be very interesting to see if we can run them off the pitch and get a lead of some sort
I would have expected to see Bennet dropped, I've been very much underwhelmed by him so far. Hope our attacking lineup doesn't see us getting caught out at the back, with players like Bent (booooooo) Villa have the ability to inflict a lot of damage if we're not in top form.
I think the word 'dropped' is a bit harsh on Fox, it implies he's playing poorly, it's just Lambert can only play 1 holding midfielder in the diamond, but I won't be surprised to see him at some point this match.
Very fast, great at beating players, just can't produce the final ball like Pilkington can. But then they're different players; Pilkington is always playing out wide, Bennett likes to come inside and take a shot, and I'm sure he'll get a few of those this season.
Got to agree there. Everyone was raving about Bennett when he first signed and I seemed to be in the quiet minority who though Pilkington was the better player. So far Pilks has been the better of the two, thats not to say Bennett won't come good though. Opposition defences will certainly have fun when they're both firing crosses in to Holt and Morison.
And there's the first sign of 'little Norwich' mentality from the commentator. Saying our fans our enjoying their trips around the Premier League grounds.
