I have 'worked' in a polling station at every election since 2010, general, local, european, police commissioner and the EU referendum, and queues are very unusual, the EU referendum is the only occasion that I recall a queue for a significant part of the day and even then, a maximum of 20 people waiting. At a general you may get 5 or 6 people arrive at the same time (school drop off, pick up time and 5-6 in the evening) at a police commissioner election you will be lucky to see 5 or 6 people an hour!

Oh boy, looks like the right wing grifters are trying to get what little money they can get while they still can...

Jack Dorsey has already launched Bluesky hasn't he? Not sure he needs to risk $20m, even to see Musk fall flat on his face!
It's got to the point where police tape will likely surround Twitter HQ before Exlax swaggers back to work on Monday
This has just been posted on the Royal Mail social media group by Simon Thompson the CEO , as far as I can tell this is genuine, does this look like a sane person who is in a 3 month long industrial dispute, trying to make10'000 of his staff redundant and cut terms and conditions that he himself agreed to last year
