I don't think we need to sign anyone established as we will have Nani, Valencia, Giggs, Park next season. But Obertan does not look good enough and I feel we could do a swap deal plus cash for Adel Tarrabt who has far more talent than Obertan. Its not a gamble as he won't cost much and it would enable us to concentrate on the key area which is the central midfield and goal keeping. I think he would be a fantastic signing because he is so talented but needs discipline and who is better at that than Ferguson? I can only see a gain in this for us because if it does not work out we could always recoup a bit of money as with a swap deal we would only be paying 2 or 3m plus obertan.
Giggs will be 38 nect year, how often fo expect him to play. Plus nowadays he is inconsistant. Been great since the liverpool game but with him nowadays like scholes it comes in bursts. He will have a good month or so but then go back to being average. Park for all his effort and hard work and effectiveness against top clubs is not first choice material. And he is knocking on abit. We need a proper left winger with quality. If spurs dont get in the champions league bale is gettable, he ialso fits in wtih fergie's philosphy of a winger. Can tarck back, cause the opposition nightmares, but I admit it will be a hard task so maybe someone lesser, but that doesnt take away from the fact we need a first choice left winger. The right is fine, Nani first choice, valencia sub and played against lesser teams. Nani on the right = best player midfeilder league. Nani on the left = innefective.
Stretty a player like Valencia won't sit on the bench, we either sell him or start him and I can see Fergi shifting Nani to the left and Valencia right. As for Bale there is no way we would spend more than 20m on him so I cant see him coming, far too expensive. 40M no chance and even Inter, real and barca have said this. Most likely destination if he left is city.
For god's sake Obertan is still young. I disagree with people's assessment of him, I think he can be a very good player for United and am willing to give him a chance to develop and gain experience. Same with all of our young players Also I don't think we should sign Bale as his back is ruined and will be plagued with problems throughout his career. Also he would cost way too much
Sir Alex should try Fabio out on the left for a few games. He is meant to be a very good player (better than Rafael) and is an attacking left full back so playing on the left wing should suit him.
I do think we probably need annother Winger, preferable one wich is left footed, but i would like to see when Valencia comes back if Nani could look to transplate his form on the right to the left, though historically it hasn't gone well but he's a much more confident and happy player now, i do think he could make the move succesfully, would be great to have those two on at the same time
