Not arsed about the World Cup and thats a first for me. Normally busting a gut trying to watch as many games as possible in a real festival of football. This time brown envelopes took the cup away from favourites England and went to Qatar. The tournament is supposed to be about promoting football and leaving a legacy after all the teams have gone home. This time the stadiums and hotels are being demolished as there is no use for them. FIFA officials alone as well as those from UEFA outnumber the population. The number of migrants who were treated as slaves who died building these stadiums and hotels was a crime yet the hypocrites in the western media say nothing. I hold no truck with the rainbow warriors brigade but the silence from the gay lobby or the feminist lobby on the way women, girls and gays are treated is also a joke. I’m also peed off that my football season has been interrupted for the 2nd time before it’s really got going. The number of top world stars who wont be going is also a joke because of the fixture congestion injuries are effecting most teams. The Qaris have today announced no more beer sales anywhere in the country, so festival of football with no beer and bantz.

Lots of debate on here about the Leeds defence and are they good enough. I have reservations about Cooper and Ayling as age is catching up with them and also about Firpo as he still hasn’t shown the fans what he can do, will he ever? However some have questioned the potential effectiveness of some of our young defenders. Before we get to that, My views on Koch and Llorente are they are both full internationals for world leading teams and you just don’t turn into a bad player without getting confused about the job/tactics the boss gives you? Cresswell is England U21 star and a born leader with a big personality. He takes no prisoners and I believe is an upgrade on Cooper. Struijk is also an upgrade on Cooper and the left side CB position is his best role and we also have Leo Hjelde another International U21 star and will very shortly be a full Norway international. Are these kids the future or next seasons starters and back ups? Are they good enough or should we cash in and invest in better?

At Leeds we have some of the best quality kids around and given a chance many will shine in the first team, some slower than others but we have all seen Greenwood, Drameh, Gelhardt and Summerville do good jobs, we have also seen Cresswell and Hjelde also do well. So should we bite the bullet and use our kids as full first team CBs. Here is a list of some of the best CB talent around and their ages
    1. Tanguay Kossi age 19 Bayern Munich
    2. Sven Batman age 21 Newcastle
    3. Maxence Lacroix 21 Wolfsburg
    4. Nicolas Schloterbeek 21 Freiburg
    5. Wesley Fofana 20 Chelsea
    6. Morat 20 Benfica
    7. Gonçalo Inacio 19 Sporting
    8. Jurian Timber 20 Ajax
    9. Nohan Mbembe 16 Club Brugge
    10. Josko Gvardiol 19 Leipzig
    11. Eric Garcia 20 Barcelona
    12. William Saliba 21 Arsenal
    13. Levi Colwell 19 Brighton
When you invest in talent I believe it’s crazy not to use it. Use it or lose it as I think we are about to see with Cody Drameh. We may even see Gelhardt showing frustration too. But Cresswell and Hjelde should both be used as back up if not starting as CBs next season. Ben White did 2 years out on loan before getting a £50m move to Arsenal. Levi Colwell is doing his 2nd season out on loan this time with Brighton and last season as an 18yo getting Huddersfield to the play offs. So could Cresswell go out on loan again and what about Hjelde who is a year younger than Charlie at 19yo

Che Adams reports have started early this year, just like Xmas adverts. Can we be serious here and say listen journos we need goals. Adams has played 110 games over the last 3 seasons plus this and only scored 24 goals. His best season was 2 seasons ago scoring 9. He will never score enough goals to keep us in the prem and Rodrigo has already scored 9 so far in only 13 games including 4 in his last 3. A new striker needs to guarantee goals and assists. Adams has never created more than 3 in a season so come on be serious, Rodrigo had 9 assists last season

The transfer rumours are about to kick off again hence the Che Adams crap and next will be Noa Lang oh and that ex Liverpool kid that went to Rangers and is deffo wanted by Leeds for the last 8 transfer windows…..

Wonder how the sponsors of the WC are feeling today when beer is banned and we all know that the beer producers are the biggest sponsors <laugh>

This World Cup is going to be a total farce. Qatar have now decided they won’t be selling alcohol in the stadiums despite Budweiser being one of the tournaments biggest sponsors and now the broadcaster (BEIN Sports) have announced they are putting a 3 minute delay on all broadcasts to ensure that no alcohol or LGBT people being shown on TV during the match

Budweiser, a major sponsor of Fifa, is owned by beer maker AB InBev and had exclusive rights to sell beer at the World Cup.

Well, they should demand their money back.

    Never trust a muslim.

Well now fellow supporters, as you are aware i worked in Qatar for a number of years, and I made and sent my dosh home, never bought gold or jewellery whilst there, my motto was to give fek all back to em.
However after saying that and listening to various people and organisations etc I do have a little chuckle to myself behind the scenes.
I got to know what was the turnover of one of the plants, QatarGas was the plant
One train = $4 million per day gas turn out.
    8 trains on the plant
    So 8 x $4 = 32
    32 x365 = 11.68 billion
So they don’t give a fck over sponsors tbh
Oh that’s only one plant btw RasGas has the same, Shell GTL plant etc
The cost of this WC is total peanuts to them believe me.

I do remember you telling us to lump on betting Qatar getting it before the oficial announcement.
You were right, pity I don't really bet.

All about showcasing the kingdom. Telling the world they can hold massive sporting events including world boxing title fights, sailing events, golf, F1, basically doing what Dubai, UAE are doing but also having BinSports network to cover it all and transmit worldwide

Last couple of seasons our attacking prowess and supply of most of goals have come from Raphinha and Harrison. 2 wingers high in assists and goals, but this season no Raphinha and Harrison now used less effectively down the right. Sinisterra when fit isn’t a Raphinha type explosive speedster. Not many assists or goals from Harrison and not much form in reality and seems unsuited to the new style of play.

So is this new style going to work? And if so why do the media insist on linking us to wingers? It seems to suit Rodrigo as he gets more support in and around the box, but it doesn’t work for Joffy who in fairness has just learnt Bielsaball but seems to be struggling getting involved now. Guess one way or the other we will know very soon

Well I for one am going to enjoy this World Cup.

Couldn't give 2 ****s about anything else surrounding it as not watching or enjoying the footy won't make one jot of difference.

Now come on England you useless ****ers.
