MotD making a big thing about being top at Christmas, but this isn't a normal season. There's still almost 2 thirds of the season to go, 24 or 25 games FFS.
Or expectations were lower? Or second season he was told who to pick. So the young players he did pick were dropped. In any event thry couldn't defend under him which is a recurring theme of his managerial career. Tuchel dropped in and put azpi amd rudiger either side of silva and thst was that.
Another horrendous var decision. Digne just smashed March in the ankle, doesn’t win the ball. Somehow not a pen.
Whats the point at this stage? They should be hauled in by fa and grilled. At this point it's only function is to protect refs and help man city
Ronaldo’s throwing his toys out yet again. Feel like won’t be playing for united again after that interview.
Putting club rivalries aside, I can see two sides to this. On the one hand I can understand his frustration - he's had a long, glittering career, he's looked after himself physically and still thinks he has a bit more to offer at the top. He doesn't want to fade away on the bench of a club who aren't even in the CL and see that career splutter to a halt. He's wasting what little time he has left, and that has to hurt. On the other hand... He should have known better. He let his ego get the better of him in thinking he would be hailed as the returning hero and lead the club back to its former glory. He's used to being the linchpin that his team revolves around, and being just another asset that the manager might or might not employ is not something he can get his head around, it seems. I said when he signed I genuinely thought it was a mistake for him and Man U, he's just not a good fit any more.
Anomalies means it is a betting company with no employees and no transactions set up in a country where betting is illegal but gave city somehow a sponsorship deal. Money that pays haalands wages as well as buying players for last season's title win
Anomalies - like ...getting £200m a year from 9 companies sponsoring them where their owner and chairman are both on the board of all 9 companies?
