Chelsea are clearly a very good passing unit. They have skillful players. And we deservedly beat them. My word, we're looking like an an accomplished side with a rock solid defence. Botman and Schar - IMO our best ever defensive unit.
I reckon Wood isn't going to play that many more games for us really. We've been coping with a few key injuries in this first half of the season up front (Isak, ASM, Wilson for a while) which not a lot has been made of due to how well we've been doing. I don't think we'll see much of Wood after the WC unless we have another raft of injuries, I also think that if we get another midfielder in during January then Joelinton will be preferred as 3rd choice striker, making Wood almost entirely redundant.
Tense game. What I found so interesting was that Chelsea were that scared they almost went 9 at the back for 60 mins. Their change actually worked in our favour. Wood was absolutely woeful, but then I’m resigned to the fact he simply is hopeless so as expected. One of Bruno’s worst games. Again praise for Longstaff, tireless and worked so hard. Huge defensive effort. Was unimpressed with Burn but he grew into it. Almiron I thought was superb, probably man of the match. But again it just all boils down to Eddie Howe. Sensational. We’re actually in a ****ing title race.
I don't think we got a balanced set of decisions from that ref. And seven added minutes!! He's probably a Man U fan.

Pretty sure i predicted top half but more like 9-10th than bothering the European places. Happy to be wrong. Honestly, cannot see us being relegated now. Feels odd to be thinking that at the beginning of November.

Think have to take some credit here, since that Palace game got changed cos of FA cup, match went midweek and Almiron scored a screamer which I attended and we never looked back, think I'll book a game that I know will change!
Ref would have booked Eddie had he done it for wasting time the amount of time we see opposition goalkeepers waste time up here and we see nothing happening to them Pickford was wasting time from the 3rd minute
