i wasn’t arguing with that point. Was fact you said World Cup has come at a bad time because he’s in good form. Only a bad time if form dips after the World Cup otherwise it makes no difference.

Form is temporary mate, comes and goes. Whatever form he's in post world cup won't link to his current form, too big a gap.

Usually, when someone is in form, you want to pay them as much as possible to try and get the absolute most out of them. Having to wait six weeks isn't great is it...
