He’d be living near Matt. Maybe a chance for our esteemed leader to flog him a flat or a castle or something

These guys who haven’t made the World Cup are p*ssed with the manager? It’s not his job to get them in world cup squads. It’s his job and theirs to do the best they can for their employers.

If they can’t make the Leeds team that’s on them, if they can’t make an international squad maybe they’re just not good enough.

Now if he’s flat out lied to them about game time then maybe that’s different.

Hoping for a huge 3 points today, but keeping an eye on the teams who could jump above us. So a word of warning folks by looking at last seasons table after 15 games (I know we will have played 14 today but outstanding game V Man Utd)

12th Everton on 18 points but sacked the Spanish waiter.
15th Leeds on 16 points but sacked Bielsa. We could be still on 15 points today.
18th Watford on 13 points relegated
19th Newcastle on 10 points but gave Eddie Howe £100m in January
20th Norwich on 10 points relegated.
Burnley dropped into the zone as Newcastle moved up the table.

Leeds have a better goal difference this season but that could go today plus we have more wins than last seasons 3 at this stage, but we have more losses this term.

We should never have been in the woods so deffo not out of the woods yet

Think a lot of our problems have been caused by not signing a striker summer before last. Yes we needed a striker this summer and a LB but think if we had signed that much needed striker before last season started we could have been in better shape. The problem was that Bamford had scored 17 from 38 games and was ever present so the board gambled and dint buy a striker.

Bamford only played 9 games last season scoring 2 goals which killed our season and put it in jeopardy. Bamford has now been useless to the Leeds cause for 18 months and it’s been a calendar year since he last scored. We obviously gambled again on him being fit for this season which again was the wrong call. So far he has played in 10 games and scored zero goals. Now injured again so I believe we will now invest in January. I believe the absence of a striker got Bielsa fired and almost got us relegated. Its hurt us this season too so far but luckily Marsch has used Rodrigo up top and so far he has delivered but isn’t been backed up by Gelhardt. Our goals have come from Rodrigo with 7, Sinisterra with 3 and Summerville with 3. Aaronson is usually scoring a lot more than he has done so far this season and Harrison’s goals are not there this season. Fkg Paddy! And Fkg Board!

Agreed Doc but I won’t be surprised if it’s another January of no strengthening. Remember there’s no one ever available better than what we already have. Does anyone actually believe that crap anymore

Three or four weeks ago i had serious doubts the club would sign a striker. Bamford was on his way back giving rads an excuse ready made for January. But Bamford can not get fit and is basically fooked. If he can injure himself practising a penaly in training then he is finished.
So now rads has no excuse except if we pick up more points by the new year. He does not have deep enough pockets to buy anyone decent. The best we could hope for is a loan but that would be an older player.

Think the only way we get a new striker is via loan as you say, or dipping into his pocket alongside 49ers who were trying to do the CDK deal and the Gakpo deal both at over £30m. It would need both parties to agree to stup up with Radz contributing 52% and the yanks 48%. Radz has a wedge doung nothing after just selling 11Sports Network. Not sure how much he got for it but turnover was close to £400m last year so DAZN will have needed deep pockets….

I laughed when Iheard about this but the new owner will not be wanting Bournemouth bouncing around at the bottom of he prem and top of the Championship. He will also know they don’t get big crowds so he must have a project in mind and if he can convince Mr Project?

This is where me and you see things slightly differently.

So after 13 games this season we are 1 pt behind where we were last season after 15 games with 2 games in hand and a better goal difference. I'm happy with that as we have gone through a horrific set of results whereas Bielsa's bad run had yet to start.

You worry about our goal difference today at Spurs but I just see it as an opportunity to get more points on the board. Every game is an opportunity for points.

You say our game in hand is against Scum. Well we've beaten far better teams than scum this year. It's possible we pick up points there too.

Last season when about to play a top six, we feared a thrashing and usually got it. Therefore there were twelve games we were never going to get much from, making remainder of season a colossal struggle. We’ve already six points from the elite teams this season and no doubt will pick up more
