Huggins looked rusty as ****, but that is to be expected. The kid is good on the ball and very rapid. I hope he gets plenty game time between now and the end of the season. He should be our starting RB IMHO, but will face competition from Hume and O'Nien

I forgot he was so young. He grabbed his chance with both hands when he was called back from that loan. Lad is best keeper we have had since Pickford imo!

I don't want anyone at the club displaying weakness and publicly apologising or asking forgiveness.

    Just my philosophy.

They will sort it in Jan I reckon. We will have enough players back after the WC to see us through and then we will be fine after the window.

That for the first goal was class footwork and even better determination. Changing my mind on him the last couple of weeks! Januzaj he is not!

Huggins will be first choice RB after the WC imo. Excellent player.

yeh I actually quite admire Speakman’s reluctance to concede that it was a mistake.

I don’t agree with him. But nobody can claim he doesn’t have a plan and he’s not executing on that plan.

Hell of a tough game for him tonight, hard to think of a more difficult scenario for his return after what feels like an age out of the game.

Should work out quite nicely as he can play RB and LB, I think our first choices will be Hume and Cirkin and he'll be pushing them both.

I wouldn't mind seeing Gooch played in the Clarke/Roberts role instead of in defence, I think he's done well there but it's not getting the most out of him. Play him further forward and between him and Stewart there'll be a lot of defending from the front.

I get that, mate. Mid season probably not a good look. We're into politician territory here though, kind of backed himself into a corner and it's the doubling down that becomes the annoyance. If he'd said nowt there wouldn't be an issue for me, I'd just think it was a genu8ne mistake that I could overlook in the grand scheme as long as it's corrected.

The club makes a big deal about engagement so the likes of KS get shoved in front of fans and podcasts 3 or 4 times a year. I listen every time and enjoy them. But I enjoyed the SD and CM podcasts too and in hindsight they were an unmitigated disaster. It's a mistake to do them, I think.

When the season is over is the only time I want to hear from the ownership/strategic management team, to review the season. They can be honest at that point without loosing face.

Thats exactly why I was pushing for Bennette to come on with the last two, Mowbtay is no Alex Neil when it comes to game management, but he is not far off.
