    Tottenham Hotspur v Leeds Utd
    Saturday 12th November@15:00 | Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Leeds travel to North London on Saturday Afternoon to play an out of sorts Spurs side, missing some key players. They have lost three out of their four last matches in all competitions, including a 2-0 midweek Cup defeat at Nottingham Forest, yet maintain 4th place in the top flight with 26 points, eleven more than Leeds.

Son Heung-min has been ruled out after undergone surgery on his fractured eye socket, that he sustained against Marseille in the Champions League. Argentinian International Cristian Romero will miss out. The 24yo centre-back has not recovered from a thigh injury. There are doubts over midfielder Ryan Sessegnon who picked up a muscular injury in their 2-0 loss at the City ground.

You have to go back over 21 years since Leeds last beat Spurs in their own backyard (24th February 2001). Goals from Harte (pen) and Bowyer turned the game on it's head after Les Ferdinand had given Spurs the lead. Since then, Leeds knocked them out of the FA Cup in 2013, and comfortably dispatched them 3-1, during the latter part of the 2020/21 season, but but these games were at Elland Road.

Joe Gelhardt will miss the trip to North London this weekend after picking up an injury during the midweek Cup loss at Molyneux. The 20yo is currently being assessed, as to the severity of the ailment. Dallas, Sinisterra, Forshaw and Gray are also ruled out with for the Whites. We await news whether Patrick Bamford will return to the fold. If he does, he'll be on the bench.

I’m sure there will be a few players thinking ahead to the WC and concerned about getting injured, hopefully more so the Spurs players

Could get a result here, could get battered.

We are so hard to predict and I'm sure spurs fans are feeling the same

I'd be happy with a draw but even then it could be a missed opportunity with Son out and Kane apparently exhausted

Looking forward to it either way <cheers>

A draw would be a good result for us.

Always feels like you have a chance against spurs - but we never seem to end up beating them. They set up to counter attack… and, well, that doesn’t play to our strengths does it.

I’m sure conte has placed any rockets he had left from bonfire night up their behinds, but we’re due a bit of luck against them. Let’s put a performance in boys and see where it takes us.

Full commitment is required for Saturday, i hear Gelhardt out again, its all a bit too often for my liking.
Spuds set up similar to Victimpool and we were going through there midfield like hot knife through butter, same again please.
Roca to whack Kane early doors and make him limp, the tiddley wink Son is out who Kane links up with very effectively.
I think we have a great chance to go three games undefeated and come away with something, discipline will be the order of the day and no rash decisions in defence.
2-1 or 1-1 at worst i am predicting.

Been musing on this game the last 24 hours. I've only watched Spurs once this season at Forest where they sat back and picked them off on the break. I thought they were superb that day.

Think this will be decided by tactics to be honest. Hopefully as Eire says we can let Spurs have the ball and it will be us on the counter. This is our best chance but I just don't feel we will do that.

Spurs might change their style a bit without Son but the most underrated player in the league is back fit for them in Kulusevski. He will probably be up against Struijk at left back and that's not good for us. Kane is tired after playing every game but he will start up front.

I think Bucks is right too. We could win this one easily but we can alo get hammered here. I'm hoping that Spurs play a more possession based game at home and we can pounce on their mistakes rather than the other way around.

It's another one where I am quietly confident like I was for Arsenal and Liverpool.

Last season we were 1 up at half time and it could have been 3, Conte changed things second half and they came out winners, unfortunately MB, did nothing to combat it. Marsch should be prepared that he may have to switch things around at some point, because Conte will if he has to.

Is he going to the World Cup? He might not fancy it after a long injury lay-off

Kulusevski is Swedish so this will be his last game for a month. Hopefully he's not quite fit just yet. He's a great player. I enjoy watching him. His movement is fantastic.

Yep Kulusevski was a game changer when he came on last weekend and both he and Richarlison played 30 mins midweek. Seems they are getting their strikers back although maybe not fit enough to start yet <ok>
