Whilst some will automatically think about SKP & Sir Niall, or even Halom & Hughes, I mean the comedy duos that have given me/us a good laugh over many decades, like Eric & Ernie, Mike & Bernie, Derek & Clive, Stan & Ollie, Bud & Lou, French & Saunders, and The Two Ronnies . . . . and Benny Hill, Les Dawson, Dick Emery, Chalie Drake, Tommy Cooper, and Spike for the singles part, all of which had series which have been watched my many millions 'cos they were so funny.

Sadly, most are no longer with us, but I just thought about double acts initially, then singles, which brought back many good memories :emoticon-0100-smile
Most of the above are comic legends, and a lot of their stuff wouldn't have been allowed now, but they made me laugh an awful lot and it's nice to reminisce :emoticon-0148-yes:

I've deliberately missed out lots them (not stand-up comedians, just single or double comedy acts) to jog memories and hopefully bring some more memories to this thread :emoticon-0105-wink:

Seen Chubby years ago and even supported him on stage in a band. He was brilliantly vulgar. And he’s also a very clever and articulate bloke off stage. Despite being from Middlesbrough!!

Bill Bailey is my favourite comedian up to now. He’s amazing. Totally inoffensive, but pin point and musically gifted in almost every instrument. Saw him at Manchester a few years ago. Wow

Saw Jason Manford last Friday. Totally different type of comedy again but absolutely brilliant.

Loved Eric & Ernie. Obviously never saw them but they were brilliant

Jason Manford is a much better standup than he gets credit for, saw him in Newcastle as a compare before he made it to TV. Some pissed locals tried to give him some stick...they never stood a chance. He's good on Absolute Radio on Sunday mornings too.
