Whilst some will automatically think about SKP & Sir Niall, or even Halom & Hughes, I mean the comedy duos that have given me/us a good laugh over many decades, like Eric & Ernie, Mike & Bernie, Derek & Clive, Stan & Ollie, Bud & Lou, French & Saunders, and The Two Ronnies . . . . and Benny Hill, Les Dawson, Dick Emery, Chalie Drake, Tommy Cooper, and Spike for the singles part, all of which had series which have been watched my many millions 'cos they were so funny.
Sadly, most are no longer with us, but I just thought about double acts initially, then singles, which brought back many good memories
Most of the above are comic legends, and a lot of their stuff wouldn't have been allowed now, but they made me laugh an awful lot and it's nice to reminisce
I've deliberately missed out lots them (not stand-up comedians, just single or double comedy acts) to jog memories and hopefully bring some more memories to this thread
