There is that. The inconsistencies are ridiculous though. A fella who recently moved not far from us just got done for the third time for beating up girlfriends, moves around a lot by all accounts, not done a day inside, then people wonder why the girls involved don't want to go through the courts with it. Third girl they know of, must be others that haven't reported it. Apparently the judge took pity on him this time as he'd received threats from the girls relatives and he said he was in fear for his life.

if i was the Judge he would have got extra time on his sentence on the grounds of "to keep him safe "
