Oh bloody hell, the MouAnon weirdos are once again carping about how their idol could be doing great things if Levy backed him like he;s been backed at Roma Roma currently sit sixth in Serie A, mainly because Juventus have been calamitous this season
Well put. If only we had the chance to make a judgement of some sort on Spence, instead of persisting with the two other horse manure players that get selected above him whilst being told he's the one that needs time. Starting to wonder and worry just what it is he's needing so much time to work on that Emerson and Doherty are supposedly doing better on.
Come on you Spurs.Do something.....if it's only to make our fans happy.....like earning your big wages!!!!
We have a thin squad which contains several unpolishable turds, we`ve also had an extremely heavy schedule and a host of injuries to key players, yet we are into the last 16 of the CL and will likely go into the world cup break sitting in the top four. Some fans need to be careful what they wish for and see the bigger picture, the club is part way through a squad rebuild and will require at least another 2 windows (maybe more with the way ENIC operate) to upgrade 6 or 7 players, the last thing we need is another manager change. Sure Conte could have handled rotation better etc, but under these circumstances going out of the League Cup is not the end of the world, down the line we will likely be better off out of it. In my opinion the Spence situation is Conte being stubborn and making a point, ie: "don`t sign me players I don`t want", which could quite easily be biting his nose to spite his face given the awful alternatives he keeps picking instead. It remains to be seen if ENIC assemble Conte a squad to the required levels (I won`t be surprised if they don`t given their track record).
One thing's been pointed out: Bissouma's conversion into a Kante-type midfielder does seem to be working, as he's winning the ball and creating passages of play which we create chances from ...and he's playing a fraction of the minutes that other players with similar output have
I wonder what our fans were thinking after leaving the ground after the Forest v Spurs game? Happy? Looking forward to the next display?
