Christ, just looked at the comments on the official Facebook page. We have an extraordinary load of entitled fans. Glad I’m a fan of the club, and not the fanbase. Embarrassing. (Yes, I know it’s not wholly representative, but still).
Showing pretty strong loyalty to Ralph with those comments. Clearly he believed in him still. Its also interesting that everyone was told Monday morning that Ralph was leaving, whereas the Athletic posted their article before that. Either the leak is very high up or, more likely, that really was poor journalism and due to wanting to look like they had a scoop, they published what everyone thought would happen. It would explain the caveat they added: "Saints decide to sack Ralph... but they may or may not wait until world cup break."
This doesn’t surprise me - the amount of people pretending that Edozie and Mara were the saviours that Ralph was ignoring/missing out on, when it’s been abundantly clear they need time.

PL teams out: Everton Brentford Arsenal Spurs Palace West Ham Leeds Chelsea Man Utd or Villa That will be 9 out after the 3rd round. I can't remember that many being out so early before. We were absolutely shocking tonight but that could actually be a good thing in showing Jones just how big a job he's got. He's got a free hit for a game before he's got 6 weeks with most of the squad. Tonight was just about getting through - a loss, even on pens, would have further battered confidence. Got to say I was expecting Theo and AMN to miss when they stepped up!
Agreed. I have previously rated them and enjoyed their content but was not impressed by that. I also thought they seemed to be pretty reliable and have access to good inside info - but now I am very doubtful of them.
After tonight I'm even more convinced this team goes down if we don't add attacking reinforcements. No where enough quality up top or creativity behind to make up for it.
Yeah I was very glad for Theo (and Diallo in my case) to prove me wrong, some great pens from both teams tbf. Thought Theo should have won it for us in normal time though if it was his rebound cleared off the line too which I think it was.
Theo missed three clear chances tonight. I can accept that - what I can`t accept is botting 50-50 challenges, which he did twice.
Just after WC final I believe pre Xmas. Not sure whether I want another home game to take nipper or a decent away.
The first half was so poor tonight I came close to losing my temper completely for the first time in a long time. It was just such a half-arsed display. Thankfully 2nd half was better even if the quality was poor.
That'd be a cracking tie and I'd probably go although I've been before. Strange but don't think there will be many/any potential new grounds there for me. Wouldn't mind Forest as think it'd mean I'd definitely get there one way or the other.
It genuinely is hard to put into words just how bad it was. Obviously doesn't matter too much now but it really was grim.
The second was still bad tbf but so much better at the same time. At least we managed to actually sustain some meaningful possession and pressure albeit we still weren't moving the ball quick enough.
