2-0 FT. Another abject performance after a joke team selection and poor subs.
I wonder who Conte will blame for this one, as it certainly won't be himself?

    Absolutely disgusted with this game.
Conte had TWO MONTHS to prepare for this one.

He could have gone full Arry League cup 2010
with his starting XI, and he would have had weeks
to have that team playing together in training sessions.

All well and good going on about fixture congestion
but this is a tournament that provides potential
competitive match time that the PL and CL at this point
    in the season generally cannot.

We were absolutely pathetic tonight. We can’t blame the referee for that but he was as bad as any referee I’ve seen this season.

What has gone wrong this season. When Conte arrived, it felt like the players were playing FOR Conte.

Doesn’t feel that way this season.

I think if spurs lose on Saturday, Conte will walk!

Shut the door on your way out.

Kulusevski got injured and he played the same system, but without a right-winger.
Then Richarlison got injured, Moura was already injured and he refused to play Gil.
Started playing a wonky 5-3-2 to compensate, then Son got injured.

Can't handle two games a week, doesn't rotate enough and runs some players into the ground.
Doesn't appear to be improving anyone via coaching and blames the players when we lose.

West Ham lose to Blackburn 10-9 on penalties. They're out too.
Newcastle also beat Palace on penalties.

Not a great night for the London clubs it seems.

Conte put out a supposed strong first 11, none of whom performed, or even looked remotely interested. (I excuse Forster from this assessment).
Conte himself was inanimate for most of the game like he didn't give a **** either.

Which begs the question, why the living **** didn't he just put out a 2nd 11 at the start to at least give decent minutes to the regular bench and give others a chance to impress.

Total waste on all levels and if I had paid to travel up there tonight I'd be bashing down Levy's door tomorrow looking for compensation!

    I didn't and don't think that he's a good fit for Tottenham.
We can't possibly compete financially with the clubs we're up against.
That requires a different approach and signing potential talent a lot of the time and improving them.
That's not what Conte's about and he seems violently opposed to doing it.

He's got an appalling record in Europe and has only won one domestic cup, ignoring super cups.
I'm sure Juventus fans would welcome him back and he'd probably succeed there again.

He probably heard us singing about the Scouser in the black on the weekend.
Took it personally, as that's what he is.

I would generally say no, but with the PL pause
for WC 2022 + Levy as he is, now the above
    scenario looks far more plausible.

Tbh Forest absolutely deserved to win.
They played well, scored a very good first goal, defended well from the front and worked hard.
They were especially strong when they went down to 10 men.
They were brave (football wise from minute one).

We were boring for 90 minutes.
Started poorly and went downhill from there.

Not really a lot more to say tbh

Would you prefer that he left the club? If so, who would you want to replace him?

And do you feel that some of the existing players you have, who haven't performed consistently well under multiple managers now, are also part of the problem?

(Sorry, a lot of questions - I'm just curious what your stance is on the manager and squad).

    Very much so.
There are some decent players there for sure, but something in me says it's time for a massive churn - and yes, that includes Kane & Son.
I'd go back to basics and start building a new (young) team. It seems like a waste - and a risk - but something has got to change and it cannot always just be the coach

Conte isn’t the only issue. Half the first 11 isn’t good enough and some have been allowed to hang around for far too long with no sign of consistent performances etc.
