I would have thought playing Greaves in a central three with two wing backs would have been a better option

Unfortunately for Fleming when Rosenoir was watching in the stands last week he had a poor game. Don’t know if that’s the reason

I noticed Rosenior embrace Pardo and seemed to congratulate him whilst walking over to the fans at the end of the game. I’m very optimistic about the pair of them

Not really. Greaves has played left back in our last 4 away games and we have taken 10 points. Maybe it is or maybe it isn't his best position - but in the few games he's played in that role he's done it reasonably well. Tyler Smith has played plenty of games up front. Not a sensible comparison at all.

He could also elbow his was past a hungry 14 year old lad when seconds was called on the apple crumble and custard. Once saw him break the school 100 yard sprint record too when a couple of ex pupils turned up one afternoon with an Alsatian dog.

I think our perception of Baxter’s distribution of the ball is skewed by the fact he played one dreadful pass which cost us a goal.

I thought generally it was ok. Most of the time it was simple passes left or right to our centre backs. He has obviously been asked to play it centrally if neither are available - it’s this that needs to be worked on. If they aren’t available and Seri has a man close by he needs to miss them all out and go longer.

They have obviously had a few sessions talking about playing it in this area to draw the opposition on to us and someone with Seri’s quality is capable of taking the ball in front of his defence - just not with a man right up his backside and a poor pass to boot.

You completely missed the point I was making that having both a central defender and a central midfielder along the flank leaves noticeably lacking in width, pace and threat down that side. How many times do we get the ball out there and neither of them has the pace, skill or guile to make the most out of the space. The comparison was as good as your reply.

Docherty over Woods imo. Woods is like Seri but nowhere near as good. At least Docherty offers energy and aggression. Still not entirely sure Woods offers.

Oscar was sent off for the consequence of his actions. A cut face resulting from a reckless high boot. I recall Son getting a straight red a couple of seasons ago when a player had his leg broken. Subsequent showings of the incident showed him to be virtually blameless. Due to the seriousness of the injuries refs feel they have no choice.

Yes - clearly neither Greaves nor Slater carried any kind of threat last night

They were rampaging down that left wing all night. Slater was ****e until he moved central.

Once again ignoring the point, I’ll just assume that you agree.

So who would you have played there? Seems Acun has made a mistake in appointing Rosie - the job should have been yours

Now who's ignoring the point? If you disagree with the selection of Greaves and Slater, who should have played instead of them? I seem to have upset you if you are resorting to insults.

You're moaning about Greaves, but then you say:

I said in the post you originally replied to, that the only person currently available that’s really going to offer width on the left side is Sinik, which is exactly what Rosie did, bringing Slater in central, Pelkas wide right and Doc in next to Seri. I said that’s how we should start the next game. Somehow you took that as Greaves can’t play left back.

As far as insults, “Seems Acun has made a mistake in appointing Rosie - the job should have been yours” you fired first ****y chops.

The basics, poor touch, can't finish and does the bare minimum for a championship footballer.

You said our left flank was like a "Gummy toothless old lady" With Greaves and Slater. I merely pointed out that Greaves had contributed to at least 3 goals from that position in recent games.
