I wouldn't no, but in the hypothetical of having Richards start I would leave Willock out over Chair. Purely based on fitness mind.
Was the Dykes chance really that gold-plated? I would have thought the Shopido chance was equally, if not more clear-cut. (serious question, we're up the other end and I haven't seen a replay)?
I wasn't there. To be honest I watched the game as a recording, as I'd been out all evening. I don't remember the Shodipo chance, but I may have wound past it. I suppose to be fair, calling the Dykes chance a sitter was unfair. It certainly looked a very good opportunity but he couldn't sort his feet out. I'll have a look for the Shodipo chance.
Just had a look and can't find it. The keeper made an excellent save from a Richards diving header, which, to be fair was probably a better chance than the Dykes one. Can't find Shodipo touching the ball on the highlights.
Definitely Richards mate and now Stainsey will be on your back. On such a brief showing it’s hard to tell, but I like the look of Richards.
I remember Shodipo putting in one of the better crosses of the evening from the right. Don't remember him pulling any save out of their Keeper.
I my defence, it was a long way from B block. Yeah, Richards looked good and must have contributed 50% of our shots on target in his brief appearance. Goes to show how poor the shooting of Willock and Chair was.
I lost count of the amount of corners. and crosses into the box. There will always be a crap cross in a game of footy but its sometimes difficult to put it on a sixpence when you only have dykes in there hence most crossing looks bad. Then you have the numbers volume. The defenders outweigh the attackers, so should be favourite to win the ball. Having said this, these opinions don't seem to apply to us when defending crosses! Huddersfield were by far the poorest team we have faced to date, they were there for the taking. It wasn't through lack of trying that we didn't score but through lack of quality. We seem to get in positions on the pitch and then take too long on the ball to hurt the opposition, instead letting them get more bodies back, getting in position. Chair, as much as I like him, holds on that fraction too long and the emphasis is often taken away from the attack.
Didn't think of that, I suppose he's played Chair, Willock and Roberts together so why not. Feels like we'd need Stef in there as well though.
With everyone fit it would probably depend on the chosen formation and opposition I suppose. Steff, Field, Richards, Chair, Dykes and Willock in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 maybe. Tim would miss out, but with the way injuries affect things I'm sure he'd get plenty of starts.
I have been a QPR supporter since 1964 and firmly believe that the standard of referring has never been so low. The question that I would like answered is who appraises refs after games
I’ve given up thinking about it, the standard has been so universally low this season. Trouble is if this bunch of refs get kicked out is there anyone to replace them?
They have a few chimps and monkeys doing bugger all at Twycross zoo, seems a logical idea to give em all a whistle, can’t be any bloody worse
Oh my ****ing lord……first Steels, now Strolls…….2 blokes who I had a lot of respect for and you both do this to me. One more time…..NOT ALL BLACK PEOPLE LOOK ALIKE !!!
