Maybe but me and my dad went to the wrong place with play club tickets and it flashed red and we had to get new ones.
It did that with Chippy when we went in the Platinum Club for the Brentford game, but he realised he had used his Sunderland Season Card by mistake.
I haven't seen these sources but my feeling since the Palace game is that his "illness" will continue and then clear up late Saturday evening. There's no way Wilson is going to jeopardise his one and only chance of playing in a World Cup.
Wilson not training with the squad, "late call will be made". So basically faking illness to avoid being out for WC, understandable. If so, I'd play this - ASM-----------Wood----------Almiron ----Joelinton-Bruno-Longstaff------- Burn-----Botman-Schar-----Trippier --------------------Pope------------------- Still confident we can win, especially considering that we don't need Wilson to score anyway.
I don't think I would start ASM. Throw Willock on instead bring in ASM for the last 30 to run at tired defenders
Don't agree at all - We'll be much better drilled, organised and tougher to play against with Willock then Big Joe on the left. Bring ASM on later in the game IMO. He offers more attacking threat, sure.
That's sounds so ****ing unambitious. Plus we've not really been playing Willock LW, and Joelinton's best position is not LW it's in the centre of midfield, Neither should be there long term. ASM is our best attacking threat on the left by a mile. You don't start defensively and hope to bring on your better players late to nick a goal, what is this, Tottenham Hotspur? No, you start your best attacking options and go 2-3 goals up then go more defensive. If WIlson is out, then I don't like the look of Willock, Wood and Almiron up front. That just sounds like a game hoping Miggy scores another screamer. Start ASM, he's our most creative attacking player. Almiron maybe getting goals but he doesn't really create much, and Wood is ****e. If we go Wood, Almiron + Willock/Murphy at LW, then we're just hoping for a screamer to go in.
The trouble with a WC mid season is we could now have a situation where some of the players will be watching themselves and not wanting to pick up any injuries over the weekend. I suppose Chelsea are more vulnerable to that than ourselves.
I'd start ASM up front. 100%. Wood's **** at everything and will be easily marked and bossed by Chelsea's CB's. Murphy/Almiron know how to press and close and whilst Murphy has zero end product, having Wood up front with inverted wingers makes about as much sense as a trans going to the World Cup. ASM will pressure a defence who love fannying around with the ball. Those three up top will offer an awful lot of pace, if nothing else, and I'll be absolutely gutted if Wood's on the field for this one. Hell, I'd even take the current version of Joelinton up front ahead of Wood. Pope Trippier - Schar - Botman - Burn/Targett Longstaff - Bruno - Willock/Joe Almiron - ASM/Joe - Murphy.
Nah I'd play ASM on the left, he's not a striker and wasted in a CF position. His crossing has improved quite a bit and we need him to beat players on the left side.
ASM was the only player that looked like creating anything vs palace. He set up a few chances that were sitters. He is definitely our best winger attacking wise as he creates rather than just scoring. If we're not playing ASM then we only have bang average wingers to play there or taking Willock or joelinton out the midfield to play there out of position. ASM was carrying us earlier in this season attacking wise. Before he got injured he basically got us the city draw and the wolves draw on his own. Without him that would have been two losses.
