Depends if you're Ehab describing a paltry wage budget or not.... Id be happy with a higher end of the middle third finish. That'll be a good first year for a new project.
Would need to watch it again, seemed more poor from the keeper, shot didn't seem to have pace on it, but will have to re-watch.
It's a game of risk. Hope they do because with Seri and Woods ability to spot a pass we'll score more by inviting them on that way than we'll make mistakes and concede. As ultimately happened tonight.
There's a lot of dangerous, panicky passing going on at the back at present. The players just need to be made aware that if in doubt, hoof it out!! As someone pointed out, when we inject a bit of pace and urgency(like we had to at 1-2),we actually pass it so much better...Up the Tigers,Up the Tempo!
becasue you're implying that rosenior instructed them to under no circumstance launch the ball, we did in the 1st half a few times their first goal was a mistake/naivety from baxter and potentially some others, we waited too long and when baxter finally decided to pass to seri, 3 cardiff players had completely closed him down, that will massively improve it's been one week and fans and players need to get use to it another advantage to playing from the back, if baxter launched it then, cardiff had 3 players completely out of position
They play out from the back. They pass to defenders who pass to the midfield and then they are in the opponents half. Hull City play around at the back. Totally different.
We ain't Man City are we daft lad. Man City have a team that would win the up coming World Cup if they were a National Team. We're Hull City.
Cardiff were utter **** for most of the game. We never got out of gear first half because we didn’t need to. Got our early goal then casually passes it around for 40 minutes with a few heart-in-mouth moments. Second half our playing out from the back mentality bit us on the arse. Then they scored another which was poor marking from our perspective. As soon as Tufan and Sinik came on, we finally got out of first gear. We looked more dangerous and had more urgency. More pressing, more direct passing and two very good goals by Slater. Overall, it’s a great 3 points. Not entirely convinced with passing out from the back at any cost and there’s a time and a place but Rosy’s sub were spot on and won us the game.
That feels more like a sigh of relief. It cannot be understated just how poor Cardiff were. This must have been how enemy fans felt when doing battle with Shota Arveladze’s Hull ****ty.
