I’m actually less concerned with Baxter than with Figueiredo. Tobias has got a mistake or two in him. Feel that Alfie and Greaves in a back four with Elder or fully-fit Fleming at left-back would make us look less nervy.
I'm liking it, shame we have nothing up front to aim at rather than trying to nurdle balls through their defence. The Baxter / Figuerdo axis is like watching the Father Ted priests over 75's 5 a side though.
Well going forward we look pretty impressive, some nice interchanges and looking more dangerous then we ha e for a while, we really should be 2 up, not sure whether Longman realised he was 3 fkn yards out ! Just put ya head on it man. I like the philosophy of being brave, but fk me these lot when fking around at the back will finish me off at this rate. COYH
The tight passes from defence have been from pre-season on and across 3 different managers, so I'd say Acun demands playing from the back all the time.
