Harvey Vale is surely worth another go. He is one of the greatest English youngsters of all time, has to be better than playing a defensive midfielder on the wing, particularly when the full back is actually a centre back.
As the half went on we turned it over a lot less. It feels like if Cardiff score it will be from a give away, because otherwise they don't get much going.
Well.....that was either v good or v nervy....created better chances but wow, we have a couple of nervy players on the ball, Baxter and figs in particular look scared when they get it.....it'll take time and the there will be blunders playing this way for sure, but it's results that count. I'd take 1 nil right now.

We look good defensively not sure what we are doing when attackin though seems like we are trying to keep possesion so passing around the back untill we get pressured and just booting it up the field
Have to say, really enjoyed that. Heart was in my mouth at moments but we look like a different team. I think it's worth noting that Cardiff pressed well at times and we made mistakes but the players remained brave.
That was very good, really controlled the half, and some lovely football, pity we couldn't get the 2nd goal. Let's hope we can keep it up in the 2nd.

It's alright playing possession football, but if it means you cough up possession 80% of the time in your own half and end up in the ****, then you should play possession football mostly in the other half. It's not Rocket biology.
