I wish I had glimmer of who to vote for, definitely not the Tories if they touch the pension promise, especially after it was them who f ucked it up in the first place.
I am the last person to ask about voting as l have no idea and will be a floater at the next election at present
I have no doubt they are. There are so many reports and investigations, across the parties, to draw the conclusion they are living in the past is about all we can do. Then we get news stories like this one. I tend to find this more of a problem than Williamson and his texts to Morton, to be honest. I wouldnt appoint him based on his lack of ability, but I am not convinced this deserves all the media coverage. Just my opinion. Racist remarks, casual or otherwise, to me need to dealt with a heavy hand.
Williamson quit already. What a joke this government is. A day after Sunak declares full support and backing.
Beth will be loving all this. She has never been so busy. Practice doesnt seem to be improving performance though. I find her incredibly annoying to watch, have to turn over.
A Absolutely. Sunak knew about the complaints but had to give Williamson what he wanted. It stinks. Same old skulduggery.
Like a lot the political media she comes across as trying to be cleverer than she is. I find her quite condascending personally. Our current politicians and the political media are a match made in heaven - both full of people I would never spend any time with.
I find that the questions that are asked these days are so long winded and full of as much crap as the answers. Instead of....So Prime Minister, what is your favourite colour? We end up with...So Prime Minister, there are clearly so many colours to choose from in a huge variety of shades, all of which have their own appeal....and we have seen many of your party choose blue as their favourite, but when it comes down the serious business of governing the country, which colour IS your favourite.
I see Angela Raynor is putting her foot in her mouth again. Demanding Sunak blocks Boris Johnsons life peerages nominations because it skews parliament. Tony Blair set records nobody has yet approached, and I think it was him who changed the rule book. Surely she remembers Tony's Cronies? He set the bar, to be followed by Brown Nosers, and then Dave's Faves. It is more really tired politics and a waste of her energy, in my opinion of course. Maybe she is savvier than I give her credit for though. She is using the word cronie. The word that dogged Blair. I read earlier this week that Labour are using the Cameron and Osborne playbook on campaigning on the economy. Maybe they are taking the approaches that have worked for tories in the past. Fair enough if so to be honest.
