Theres unconfirmed reports this was Danny, and considering he's 37 and lives in Wynyard, it sounds very likely that it was him.... https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/n...nyard-co-op/?ref=BNTMedia&utm_medium=facebook
Seen a few on Twitter saying it was him. The other photos at least had the reg blurred out. Someone will probably know if its him as you can see the reg on that one.
I'm not sure why it works for me on here. Try this one.... https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teesside-news/ex-premier-league-player-arrested-25460604
An ex-Premier League footballer has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after crashing his car into a village storefront. The incident saw a black Land Rover defender smash into the front of The Village Store, in Wynyard, on Friday at around 9.30pm, with images from the aftermath showing the vehicle lodged inside the shop entrance. A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol and remained in police custody on Saturday. Cleveland Police said that, while nobody was injured during the ordeal, residents from the flats above had to be evacuated and substantial damage was caused to the store. The force confirmed on Monday that the man arrested has since been bailed pending further enquiries. It is understood that Cleveland Fire Brigade also attended the incident as a large cordon was erected around the scene made up of both police and fire service tape. Teesside Live visited the Wynyard shop the morning after the crash, which remained closed as a police vehicle was positioned outside. Passers-by were stopping to see what happened, with one dog-walker saying: " It's ridiculous when will drivers learn. Residents now can't use the shop. I hope they've being charged for the damage."
He was awful here (twice) but had an excellent season for Swansea in the PL. Anyway, I have no doubts that this will be Danny. Lads an arsehole. Loves the booze.
Yeah I watched a podcast with him on a few weeks ago where he said he was late for his first ever training session with us because he'd been on the lash in London all day the day before and he didn't travel back to the NE till during the night, and he turned straight up to his first ever session still pished. He also thought it was funny to talk about another occasion he was late training because he'd been locked up the night before for being drunk and disorderly in Newcastle City centre.
It's crazy to think of how many millions we've wasted on bang average players over the years and how much we were taken the pish out of by them.
