a charity called hygiene bank has claimed that many people are to ashamed to go to work because of the inability to afford hygiene products,their chief exec has called it a "hidden crisis" and those experiencing hygiene poverty where most likely to go without shaving products,soap,deodorant,laundry detergent etc......one woman the charity has worked with stated she has to dilute products to make them last longer and tied up her hair in a certain way to hide the fact she hadn't washed it for weeks at a time and suffered from acne from being unable to wash her face and has to keep a distance from people for fear that she smells the charity told the bbc.....now i am sorry my brain couldn't quite register this utter piffle, this woman is actually saying she can't afford any of the cheap shampoo or soap to wash her hair or self for god knows how many days...and wait for it another person said it had impacted their confidence so much that they had began avoiding social contact, including NOT ANSWERING THE PHONE!!!!!.....................the beeb of course lap this sort of horseshit up and are all to willing to trumpet the cause......sorry 4 bars of soap £1 and shampoo the same, methinks a bit of blarney going on here....oh and the chief exec of this charity is on circa £80,000p.a............enough to shell out for a few cheapo bits and bobs for her beeb whistle blowers
