    • Forghieri was only 27 when Enzo Ferrari asked him to take over technical role
    • Engineer's cutting-edge car designs helped keep Ferrari top of the leaderboard
    • The team won four drivers' and seven constructors' championships on his watch
    • His famous Ferrari 312T car was very successful during 27 years with the team

    Can still remember seeing that at the time. Fantastic. Only downside was that was the match that launched John Motson on his way.<laugh>

    the other scorer was ricky george, who made it 2-1 in extra time. old viewers will remember two or arsenal's strikers at the time were also called radford and george.

    RIP Ronnie Radford.

    The same season where Ted McDougal,playing for Bournemouth, scored 9 (yes NINE) goals in a Round 1 replay against Margate. Unsurprisingly is still a record.
