One aspect of this that is odd is that there is no statement at all on lfc website. Add in the fact the club announced that the roof was coming off anfield road end and now both drovers are saying they are being told by contractor staff that it's not. Could be total chaos behind closed doors.
That was droners. Autocorrect, sorry Frost and Mr drone have both said that roofs not coming off 3 days after club announced it was.
I didn't query it because I don't know what a drover is anyway The official website says the old roof is being demolished during the WC. That was 7 days ago.
It's the only acceptable means of communication to fans SoS are already asking for formal written communication on this. FSG will be run out of two if they ignore the fans again. Strike 1 77 quid tickets fans walk out. Strike 2 super league shenanigans Strike 3?
Still nothing communicated to fans. Smells like they've been caught with pants down again. Anyway. Fsg cannot afford to sell lfc. They can sell Fsg itself using lfc as the most valued asset of the group then take the cahs for red sox as usual. If asked I'd rather they sell lfc as an entity rather than see more buy into fsg and see us sit as the forgotten asset while they spend more in Boston.
Rumour is that they have already received 1 offer for the club and they are inviting more offers. Generally far more progressed than people think
Could be, but the question remains. Red bird capital bought into fsg, not for access to red sox. What do the yanks have left after lfc are sold. Shag all. The value tanks. Lfc was a once in a lifetime cheap cheap asset to aquire and make a killing on. It's also been Rumoured that when John Henry pops his clogs the fsg thing was to be parted out and only red sox maintained. So this could well be time for retirement for the absentee baseball fan who got convinced by gordan that this was a great deal.
Or they want to sell, make s tidy little profit then reinvest that money into another club in a diff league where not quite so expensive.
I think they bought some ice hockey team and some race car team. Really there's only 2 parts that matter to fsg. Red sox (all Henry cares about) Liverpool fc ( left in dereliction in the area and only building to sell and making lfc fund it as well) Fsg value is 10 billion apparently. We were valued at £3.6bil last May. Redsox are valued at 3.9 bil dollars. If fsg sell up then they imo are going back to being a usa based smaller organisation that's harvested the cash from its brief sojourn unto global arena. And good luck to them but they are indifferent to Liverpool imo and we should be indifferent to them
I think the reasonable thing to do before they sell is to buy £1bn worth of players and write it off. What, it worked for Chelsea, didn't it?
