I have no morals so im all for it if like i said they invest in the squad, chav, city style. If not what's the fuking point
its not a statement. the echo is calling it one and the rags are picking it up. if someone sent a quote into the local ra or the ahletic then they'd have to publish itself by rights bu as of now no such publication by FSG or its asset has been made. I cannot for an FSG "statement" on LFC website nor FSG own forums(which are ****)
FSG aren't selling (everything), I'll believe anything bigger when there's something more concrete, not before. FSG have always been selling off chunks of shares here and there. LeBron, Red Bird, etc. They just want someone to buy another chunk to fund Jude so they don't have to put any money in. There are three possible scenarios if they did though. One a sugar daddy club ownership to boost someone's ego. Glory days return. Someone with sold investment plans but not a sugar daddy. The glory days will eventually fade and we will become a lower top- upper mid table team eventually. (Long term, Money matters and there a lot of clubs with more money thrown in than us now and more coming... City, Chelsea, United, Newcastle... There will be more big money clubs, and the top four long term is already sealed... Not saying United are sugar daddy owned... Just long term richer) Another H&G screw up owner.
I do believe something like this came up years ago where they were said to be selling up and they had to deny all. something with middle east buyer or some such well prior to Newcastle stuff stating. As for richer. ahem .look at the revenues. that doesn't add up to certain clubs being richer. lets stop thinking we are pre 2010. The decade of FSG work has built a club with genuine world club revenues.
Hmm. They got us on the promise they had £200m ready to build a stadium. when they did build a £110m stand they borrowed us the money. they've seen their initial investment of £300m increase more than twelvefold. Their biggest selling point is that they're not H&G. But maybe we'll get Mike Ashley now and appreciate what we had
you wont get mike cashley. that type only buy up distressed asses. the danger is far more likely to be conglomerates of rich ****s or some absolute lunatic with loads of cash and no clue. 3 to 4 billion. theres not going ot be a higher price for it. same as musk buying twitter or the gobshite who bought Chelsea. it'll never be sold for more. the ONLY way to make a return is off the global reach and selling stuff beside LFC. It'd be like taking 4billion and tying it down for 20 odd yeas with no real gorwth while you makie money round it off selling other stuff.
Indeed. with a recession coming that £3.8bn could be a high water mark for a team that probably needs half a billion spent on the squad, and your model is £15m net per season and a manager turning water into wine
If selling is the best option, especially if FSG cannot take us further. Newcastle is becoming a force to be reckon with.
With us now having fan representation on the board, would the issue of the club being sold (if that is what's happening) be considered an item on the agenda that the fan representatives would be involved in? No way we get sold to Kuwait (for example) without all out fan resistance.
you lot know newcastle didn't actually spend all that much and ae only "doing alright" you'd swear it was 500mil and 10 points clear at the top here. jeeeeez.
yes and no. they can be told but they have not voting rights to stop it. they'll be straight out on the streets but LFC board and FSG board are two different things. FS will see shares in hlding company. LFC boad won't ever vote on being sold up.
