Watched a bit of their game yesterday. From what i saw thought they were very unlucky against Newcastle. Either it was the perfect away performance - or they got mugged depending on your perspective. That, as they say, is football.
No Southampton have had enough of the Red Bull experience hence the employment of Man City staff in scouting, coaching and the purchase of some Man City kids for the first team squad
I'm sure they'd love him - but we have title winning form, so we'd never let Jesse go - especially with his great rapport with the fans.
This is funny typical south Americans and you thought Rodrigo had a temper. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63540624
Seems to be a lot of this going around. Club want to sack manager and start looking for options. Find the man they want, he signs a new long term deal then leaves making sure the compensation package is significant. It could also be done in conjunction with club about to lose their man ? wonder why Dyche not on their list
Hola from Lanzarote. A few comments: * Had a chat with a Barca fan out here. He was raving about Rodrigo. They'd love him back. Asked what Firpo had been like, & got the reply "Who?". Enough said. * Re. Harrison. I hope he gets dropped. He's a confidence player - a through & through winger. Current tactics just do not suit him. I'd keep him on the bench as a wide option when chasing a game. Square peg in a round hole & he's suffering for it. He's trying, but somehow seems lost to me. If Marsch is to remain, then we should sell him & buy a player that fits. Personally, I'd hold on to him, just in case Marsch fails. Well, fails a lot more, if you know what I mean. * Read a mention of 'Tonto' on here. I first called him that at the Blackpool game. Reason? We had no idea who all these new players were & I asked the lad next to me who the left winger was. I heard his pronunciation as Tonto, & it stuck with me. * Anyone fancy Hasnhuttle replacing JM if his time comes sooner rather than later?
The BBC are reporting that Southampton are to approach Luton's manager: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/63545333
Would love to get rid of Rodrigo to Barca - cash up from mind. Sad but probably the right call regards Harrison. Maybe Roca to the left and Greenwood in the middle ? Tonto has to start now No f*****g way. Though I'd be surprised if the board hadn't already got some ideas who to replace Jesse with, prior to the Liverpool game.
"The passionate Italian was filmed mocking the Leeds faithful" - That explains a lot, I thought he was Spanish.
