You know there is nobody at all on here that is enjoying our current predicament. No one seriously wants us to lose every week just to be proven right. I'd have loved it for Ralph to turn it around and make me look foolish, as would every one else of the RalphOuters. I actually think the Rinners were just as painful with their told-you-so attitude every time we got a good result. Hopefully we can all just draw a line and get behind the new bloke, whoever he may be. We were going down with Ralph, of that I have no doubt. If another guy comes in and does just as bad, then okay, seems like the squad really is as bad as everyone believes. But I'm not going to be convinced of that just because one manager couldn't get them playing well consistently.
Agree normally, but that sounds pretty definite to me. Let's hope he's right for once and we can start trying to secure our future ASAP. Despite my man love for Ralph, change is desperately needed!
Southampton have decided to sack manager Ralph Hasenhuttl. The Premier League side have agreed to sack the Austrian either during the World Cup break or before they play their final match before the tournament, against Liverpool at Anfield next Saturday. Southampton had wanted to wait until the break before making a decision, but could now act sooner. He's his own worst enemy. The club and fans have been more than patient with him and willing to give him chance after chance. But his wacky team selections and inability to find a consistent starting eleven is what has undone him in the end.
