Of course they wouldn't. Because that is a ridiculously cool name who any club would want managing them.

I’d donate a spud for Gallardo.

Yeah they would, with a record of success at one club, and failure when stepping up. He could be the next Eddie Howe, of course, or the next…umm…Adkins.

When did Adkins fail when stepping up?

Premier League. But regardless, people pining over Adkins is absurd. Nice guy, the fact he doesn't actually manage anyone at any level now, and hasn't for over a year should kinda tell you something though.

I'm safe - her sporting interests are strictly equestrian.

He was the right manager for his moment, in that he had an absurdly talented team for their level, and what we needed was less a tactician than a hype man to keep them happy and focused. He has definitely struggled to replicate it since though unfortunately, he's a lovely guy.

    Yes this 100%.

Love Nigel. Absolutely love Nigel. If I saw him I’m the street I would run up to him shake his hand and say thank you. I’d even be a bit star struck and want a selfie. But wouldn’t want him back. Different era, different needs.

That said, amazing to see him at half time at St Mary’s. Him and Ralph both share a passion for the club.

My Geordie neighbour suggested Mancini - not Roberto but Henry.
Thinks he might get a tune out of us.

    That qualifies for the 5%.

It has astonished me just how many people on this message board and in the media must have failed English Comprehension whilst at school because nowhere does it say Ralph has been sacked.

I really like The Athletic and their reporting on the club to date. But this piece was appalling clickbait rubbish.

Wasn’t the article from Dan Sheldon though? Who was pretty poor by Athletic standards and isn’t even the club reporter anymore
