I like potterbut boy do I hope he flops with them.
I hope they become impatient and ditch him or he could well turn into their version of SAF

Some Chelsea fans wrote him off from the beginning, because in their mind they shouldn't be hiring Brighton managers

I'll never understand this belief that certain teams should only hire managers from an arbitrarily small list of clubs

He won't get 4 seasons to win only the FA cup.
Their baseline will at the annual minimum will be
    CL qualification + KO stage.

I joked earlier about Chelsea playing like us, they weren't they were much much worse, Arsenal won at a canter despite not registering a shot on target from open play. Even we could have beaten Chelsea playing like that, but they never do when we rock up, but they generally roll over for the goons.

But on a more serious note they looked short in all areas I know they have a few injuries, but Potter looked bemused by their collective inability to find each other with a pass. How Stirling stayed on for the whole game I really don't know and as for Aubamayang he couldn't have proved Arteta more right if he had wanted to, shocking in every respect.

Elsewhere Newcastle 2 up and Man Utd 3-1 down.

I think Southampton maybe looking for a new manager whilst the world cup is on, Hassenhutl looking like has lost it there.

Good time to sack him as well. New manager can work with the squad that aren’t at the World Cup (which is probably most, lol) and then look at January targets.

It's not the first time either, and will be completely forgotten because they lost. Didn't McTominay deserve to be sent off a couple of times in their earlier disaster matches? It's almost like saying that they lost, so that's enough punishment. No, not really, red cards are red cards and Martinez should be missing from the next game.

Usually they manage to balance the beatings out with a good number of wins so they're rarely at any risk of the drop, even if their goal difference has taken a hammering - something which becomes clearer when you compare his win percentage to Hughes or Pellegrino

This season, though, there's far too many narrow losses to teams like Wolves, Everton and Villa in matches you would expect them to pick something up in

Can anyone explain why or how VAR didn’t review this and deem it as a straight red card? Clear elbow from Lisandro into Bailey’s abdomen. Twice. He wasn’t even subtle about it. <doh>

What’s the point if you’re just going to ignore **** like this?
