    2007-08 season

    Ruddy: Stockport county loan
    Tierney: Shrewsbury Town
    Naughton: Sheffield united
    Martin: Wycombe Wanderers
    Barnett: West Brom
    Fox: Blackpool
    Johnson: Northampton Town
    Bennett: Bury (loan)
    Pilkington: stockport
    Hoolahan Blackpool
    Morison: Stevenage borough
    Holt: Shrewsbury
    Crofts: Gillingham
    Jackson: Rushden and diamonds

Not bad for improvement. Hopefully we can start to get some home grown players through soon as well.

It's absolutely amazing how far this squad have come. It speaks volumes both for them, and the staff here.
Out of interest, I had a look at our side from the opening fixture of 07-08 (I think I’ve got them right),

    Marshall: Cardiff
    Otsemobor: Sheff Wed
    Drury: still here
    Shackell: Derby
    Dublin: retired
    Strihavka: Msk Zilina
    Chadwick: MK Dons
    Croft: Derby
    Brown: Doncaster
    Lappin: still here
    Russell: Preston
    Brellier: AC Seyssinet (amateur football)
    Fotheringham: Livingston
    Doherty: Charlton
    Gilks: Blackpool
    Cureton: Orient

And from the corresponding November fixture to this weekend,
    Taylor: Watford
    Huckerby: retired
    Hartson: retired
    Smith (I think Jimmy?): Orient
    Murray: Hibs

So, there are two of that side now playing Premier league football... the two that are still here!
Ah, happy memories of that side, hey?

Cheers exile for that you answered my q

Bit of an eclectic bunch wasn't it (not as much as the next season though)

    You sparked my curiosity Max!
It certainly was a mixed bunch. Think I'll leave looking up the following season, not good for any of us to spend too much time looking at that period. I'm always slightly concerned it'll bring me out in hives ;)

    Dave, that's definitely a 'coat' job <laugh>

Ian Murray, definitely one of the more forgettable players, from a very forgettable period. Signed from Rangers by Peter Grant, played a handful of games, left the club under Roedent. He was only here for that season.
