I would expect a competent manager to come in and replace him to comfortably stay in league, as I’ve said with Mowbray at the helm for the season I can only see us going one way and it won’t be upwards. As I’ve said just my opinion on him like you have yours but we’ll see in the near future what will happen. Blackburn were happy to let him go after his usual 2nd half season collapse, I’m really looking forward to that.

Well, when we got to half time my mate said "they same different, style of play I mean", that's when I said about them playing so long without a striker and probably thrown them off

Ah so you want him sacked based on things that haven't happened yet. Got it.

So, I have just calmed down a little and I am trying to understand what the fcuk was that..

When the team was announced, I thought okay, 4 4 2 but we seemed to play 4 2 4, very gung ho... and it turns out hopeless no midfield to speak of. Roberts doesn't tackle back.

Mentally we seemed, as they say, not in the right heads space..

Simms started, which I thought was good he lasted 60 mins. He was unfortunately invisible..
Although many others were woeful also, Neil for one.

So in retrospect we had the wrong tactics/formation and since we could have changed several players in the 1st half, but waited until 55 mins..we had the wrong players to start with... most of whom mentally were all over the place and not ready to front up against Cardiff...early Christmas present for them.

    Over to you TM

No I expect him to be sacked after missing obvious schoolboys errors that a manager of 20 years experience shouldn’t be missing, he should be identifying what the whole stadium saw in that first half, a stadium full of plumbers, drivers, woodworkers and many more that haven’t been anywhere near a coaching session. You must be happy to let him carry on missing things so how long do you give someone that’s not doing his job right.

We were awful, he has to sort our home form out. He picked the wrong team simple as that. Great display pre match then the usual bellends Chuck the stuff on the pitch. We have some proper pricks in that stand. We need something next week at Birmingham or we could be looking over our shoulders. Thanks RTB as usual a cracking thread

The replacements must be able to press they are all young lads, it can only be that Tony Mogadon doesn’t tell them to.

Very surprised there wasn’t more of a sarcastic reaction from the crowd when Mowbray finally decided to change things…

    Absolutely baffled by him today.

We were w*nk. Being polite there.
Patterson MoM purely because of his penalty save.
Roberts only player trying 2nd half. Substituted. Unless he has an injury wtf was that about.
Thought ref was decent. Tried to let play flow although I thought we warranted, not deserved, a penna late in the game.

PS, nice to see you Smug albeit too briefly.

Stewart leads the press, I have said a few times I don't think many strikers can provide what he does on that front.

I don't think the rest of the team did press much more than they do now he is just a big miss.

Ross Stewart can probably argue for another 5 or 10k a week after that today.
