Elusive Kate laid to make it 8 from 8 in the Betfair laying experiment. http://betfairlayking.weebly.com/ My Nap did not pick up today though.
Elusive Kate nowhere. Draw looked significant. Front three were drawn 4,5,6. Got to conclude that the draw is critical. Doesn't look good for Strong Suit tomorrow. Up was absolutely flying at the death.
Im only going to have alittle dabble on the racing tonight and 2moro night and will be betting on british and irish horses as I no sweet fa about american horses really lol
I did my bollocks at the meeting last year and learnt that it's best to keep your money in your pocket! Too many unknowns.
Toppy I never realised Elusive Kate was your lay - wouldn't have backed it. Luckily I just realised that my supposed 20 quid bet was actually only 20 dollars - just realised my online bookie is only taking dollar bets just saw the 20 button and hit it.
I dont really know one american horse Zenyatta- so yea keep my money in my pocket for the racing tomorrow!
I'd only consider betting in the Turf, Mile and Classic. The Turf are all Europeans anyway. Goldi should win the Mile but the price has gone now. And i know a decent bit about the Classic horses. Avoid the rest like the plague!!
I thought Shumoos was going to get there for a minute. I'm not sure the American 2YO sprinters are that good this year. The US horses didn't exactly do much at Ascot and the top US 2YOs will surely been seen out tomorrow. The Breeders Cup Juvenile Sprint is one of the few new races I can actually see a point too. I'm not sure about the two Juvenile turf races? Do they really need five Juvenile races (four over a mile)? Do they need three Sprint races? Do they need two Mile races? I realize the idea is to fill as many categories as possibly but 'too many cooks spoil the broth' and that is the case here. I think the following schedule would be enough:- Breeders Cup Juvenile Sprint 6f dirt Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies 1m dirt Breeders Cup Juvenile 1m dirt Breeders Cup Sprint 6f dirt Breeders Cup Mile (1m turf) Breeders Cup Ladies Classic (1m1f dirt) Breeders Cup Fillies & Mares (1m2f turf) Breeders Cup Classic (1m2f dirt) Breeders Cup Turf (1m4f) Breeders Cup Marathon (1m6f/ poss. upped to 2m dirt)
Backed the fav Turbulent Descent with a win/place/show saver on Tamarind Hall. Just realsied that in the 8.10 I backed Holdin Bullets win/place so I guess I don't get anything for 3rd
I would have rather have seen Elusive Kate run in the proper BC Juvenile Fillies race. She is surely bred for the dirt? The first two looked good. RFC should make more effort to get these turf horses to the 1000 Guineas and/ or Royal Ascot instead of lame ideas like Chumpions Day.
Just left a bet on my old friend RV's selection My Miss Aurelia in the 10.10 Madison Du Berlais tomorrow, and The Nightingale in Ireland
When Toppy lays one it's like having it's legs tied together. It will not win. He even got Captain Chris and Menorah beat on the same day!
