I did say at the start of the season they weren’t ready, as evidenced by Harvey Vale’s only start for us. Doc’s reemergence has kept Vale out, while Simons isn’t going to get in when we play Seri. Vale did score for the U21s, so he’s doing his bit, but much like Williams they’ll have to wait and keep training until a spot opens up.

I’d send them back in January and get two better players if we’re not going to use them.

Will Jarvis is as good as him just doesn’t come from Chelsea so no one will think that. He needs a loan in the football league

No no no.

Vale is an enormous coup for us and going to overtake Alan Shearers record by the time he retires.
 
I’m a bit disappointed that Docherty has been left out. He will add energy coming on though. I’m also looking forward to Tufan making an impact from the bench.

I hope Longman and Fig prove me wrong. They haven’t been bad lately but I feel there were better options.
