Both. Isak RW Though it's purely theoretical, they'll never have ASM, Wilson and Isak fit at the same time.
No way is Miggy being dropped. I'd assume ASM will keep his LW spot. It will be Wilson/Isak for CF I think and one will be dropped.
I think the fixture pile-up after the World Cup break is pretty rough so there'll not be a "first team" as such but players being moved around to fit games and fixtures. The future holds a situation for us in which we don't have a first team 11 who are premiership quality and the rest of the squad are terrible but instead have 15-20 players who are all "first team". We're not there yet of course.
I wouldn't stress it because injuries and suspension and form change everything. Almiron will have a bad game or 2 and all of a sudden fans will be saying that's why we need this or that signing or even Fraser to get a start. Newcastle don't actually need to sign anyone in January with such a change in players we all thought weren't upto it in most cases.
It was a daft publicity stunt by Ashley for the laughs and giggles. He has hardly played since he came for any level of football. A complete and utter waste of time.
I don't agree with this narrative personally because he was actually highly rated and Ashley doesn't pay for things for publicity stunts. It's simply the fact that the landscape has completely changed now and what was a good enough prospect then simply is nowhere near what's deemed a prospect now. The level of youth player coming in now has changed completely.
Wilson will pull his hamstring when given a token 2 minutes of injury time in the last of the World Cup Group games, when we are 3-0 down and already out.
Newcastle United will listen to offers for English centre-back Jamaal Lascelles, 28. (Football Insider) Manchester United, Arsenal and Southampton all showed interest in signing in-form Miguel Almiron before the 28-year-old Paraguayan midfielder opted to join Newcastle United in 2019. He can **** off, expect us to get Costa soon and Dubz will become a laughing stock in years to come. Dumbest ****ing move ever, flushed his reputation down the ****ter.
Can hardly blame him like he was told he wouldn't play and then got an unlikely offer at Manchester United at a late age. He probably did what anyone would do. That being said once a player leaves that should be that and Newcastle will be after better younger players in all positions anyway.
Maybe has maybe hasn't it's still only an injury away from him playing there and Pope might not get injured... Either way who cares, he served the club well and nufc is going on to new levels.
