Preview: Middlesbrough vs. Bristol City - prediction, team news, lineups Middlesbrough play host to Bristol City on Saturday afternoon with the opportunity to move above their opponents in the Championship standings. Although Boro have spent much of the campaign in and around the relegation zone, Michael Carrick's team can move ahead of their 16th-placed opponents with victory at the Riverside Stadium https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footba...-team-news-lineups_498679.html?cQx=NN&newsnow please log in to view this image please log in to view this image We say: Middlesbrough 2-1 Bristol City Given Bristol City's long-standing inconsistency, they may very well travel to the North-East and pull off a shock win. However, we feel that Boro could improve quickly under Carrick, leading us to predict a home win, albeit in nervy circumstances. All we need are a couple of successive back to back seasons finishing in the top half of the table just outside the playoffs and the similarities would be complete!!!!
Bristol City predicted team v Middlesbrough: Klose to return as Semenyo battles Conway for start Bristol City travel to the Riverside to take on Michael Carrick's Middlesbrough https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/bristol-city-predicted-team-middlesbrough-7786952 Bristol City (3-4-1-2): Max O’Leary; Zak Vyner, Timm Klose, Cam Pring; Mark Sykes, Matty James, Alex Scott, Jay Dasilva; Andi Weimann; Antoine Semenyo, Nahki Wells
So the City team... It's taken me a short while to try and piece this one together... So it has to be Vyner, Klose and Pring as the back three with Scott at right wing-back and Weimann at left wing-back potentially?! Williams and James in the middle with Semenyo behind Conway and Wells. That's a big statement for Nigel Pearson to switch up his wing-backs for the afternoon but they haven't been delivering the numbers going forward (Bristol Post)
This feels wrong; we know Weimann is not suited to WB, we learned that in NPs early weeks/months. This side looks extremely disjointed. That said, watch us go and win now......
Could have Scott one side Semenyo other, Weiman behind the front 2? surely Semenyo has to be left, with either Scott or Weiman right with the other sitting behind the two strikers. recently our wing backs have had lots of possession, but created very little, I guess eventually we had to try something different.
For those of us that do Don’t do Twitter, would anyone who does like to explain what this article says?
beeb has line up as 3 - 4 - 1 - 2 with A S as a wing back ! My initial thought was 3 - 4 - 3 but that means middle 4 is Williams James Scott Weimann ! 4 - 1 - 2 NW or AS behind front 2 Jones and Akpom Midds dangers Forrs been off form but a danger
They have Williams as RWB , can’t see that, it’ll either be Scott or Weiman, with the other playing behind the two strikers
anyone at the game might be able to throw light [ formation ] any "freebie" links? I am a bit busy and wife not well so dont want to pay ........... simply be honest!!!lol
Our first decent chance against the run of play, Conway with a cracking pass for Weimann to slot it in 1-0 City
Not a very good start so far as we are totally on the back foot. We will get blasted if we keep this up, but then again Weimann scores and makes my comments a waste of time. Go figure this lot.
