I voted tory at the last GE to get us out of the EU, and to take control of our borders. We'll 1 out of 2.

Well to be fair the previous Jeremy Corbyn, Diane Abbott, Gordon Brown and Tony Blair excuses were becoming a bit dated <laugh>

I see Johnson had the numbers. Sir Graham Brady confirmed it this morning.

The numbers to run but not to win.

He didn't cut his holiday short, fly back to the UK and put himself forward just to have a change of mind for no reason.

He's become a very unpopular figure in his party, hence being kicked out in the first place.

    I agree.

It was an unprecedented condensed period of virtual hysteria with the politicians and major political commentators. It was moving so fast and being commented on like it was a football match.

It looks like her career will suffer although ITV should pick her up, she's usually very good.

If there had been two of them it would have gone to the membership - that's why Mordaunt withdrew in the end - and he'd have won.

Which begs the question of why he dropped out.

Just something for DH4 to ponder ;)

Yep. He would have won if he'd went against Rishi. It looks like he put the national interest first. Top bloke.

The BBC is supposed to be impartial. She went against that and acted unprofessional. Now she needs to deal with the consequences of that.

With the membership - by a mile. Why, who knows. Possibly even with MPs. They were making noises about him being the only one with a mandate....

That's a surprise as they voted in Truss who was the polar opposite of Johnson ...

...but as your the spokesman, for the membership, I'll bow to your superior knowledge.

Correct, there are so many agencies involved you would need somewhere like Wembley stadium to get them all around the table.

Read last night we have taken in since the beginning of 2019 almost 80,000 migrants.

We have no idea how many have turned up and just disappeared.

The masterstroke was for Boris to cut ties with Europe and insult France then expect them to prevent thousands of unwanted migrants from leaving ...

... if I was Macron I'd be having a BOGOF offer on dinghies.

The little old ladies love him. The reason he wasn't in on that vote between Truss and Sunak is that he'd have pissed it.

I have no sympathy for any of the media outlets whatsoever, they are as bigger sxxt show as Parliament.
It's appropriate that tomorrow is Guy Fawkes night, l look forward to Gunpowder, treason, and plot.
