I'm still not sold on this appointment but he's got my full backing, personally the games before the world cup break I don't think anyone should make any judgement either way on it. Let him/his team implement their theory's & ideas over the mini pre season while the world cups on and let's see how we are performing after that

We have the worst defence in the league by a long way and look bereft of ideas when in the final third. I admire your optimism but even if his target is only to avoid relegation the odds are stacked against. We will likely be heading into Christmas in the bottom 3 with more changes to the squad required.
His league 1 record was decent enough, from a small sample size. Stretch that out across the whole season and it should be enough for the play offs next season
The way to allay fans fears is to pick a sensible team and formation certainly at first but if you go cavalier the fans will soon revert to ‘what the f****s he doing ‘ and please have the conviction not to include players like Coyle if you don’t think he’s effective . That’s not my opinion necessarily as it applies to a good few ! Key for me is organisation , hard to beat yen we’ll worry about flair later .
