I disagree a bit there mate. Ba looks fantastic but there is something about his play that worries me. He is a bit too cocky on the ball and nearly gets forced into errors a lot. Second half sub, still, for me.

Then with Simms, I like that he comes on fresh against players with tiring legs. I think he will be more effective as a sub - maybe at half time again - until he is fully up to speed.

I may be in the minority, mind!

Huh football and loads of different opinions... who would have thunk it!

A close win last night, but after refs have cost us in the last few games, so we were due some things going our way.

I would like us to break the habit of starting off the pace... although against Burnley we were the opposite... no consistency..

To be fair to their keeper he'd just ran the length of the pitch twice going up for corners ...

... it was more of a slump than an attempted save <laugh>

am i the only one that thinks roberts is much better with 'pass and move' type play than his runs into dead ends...i know they look good when they come off, a nice, mazy run ending with the net rippling is one of the best sights on the pitch but sometimes a nice passing move can offer better rewards.

It can be argued that whilst Roberts may be the most skilful player we have atm, but as you imply his end product is not good enough. Whilst a few games ago he scored 2 cracking goals, he had not been consistent since.
In other words he is frigging frustrating.

I just saw this on Twitter and was about to post it. Have we just scored another absolute worldy and it's gone unnoticed? I don't remember it being as good as that when watching it live. What a goal that is.

Neither do I, I remember some quick passing then it's in the net. Probably because the relief of going ahead was overwhelming, when Clarke scored his we were comfortable.

Great goal anyway. Love that this is the type of football that we're playing now.

I just seen it and came on to post the same.
Definately think the quality of the goal has gone a bit unnoticed, started off with Patto again....
    Superb stuff.

I thought good goal in real time. Looking back it is very very good. I think we are all just getting used to this style of football. What a nice bloody change.

I can’t understand why people keep saying we won’t get a striker that is going to be third choice, He should be equal to the other two all fighting for their place up front.

Couldn't argue if Mowbray played it that way with Simms and Ba is just opinions mate and I suppose you are right Evans is less likely to be caught in possession trying the "fancy stuff".

Me either. Didn’t realise how many passes and what great one touch stuff there was. Back to front. There aren’t many sides in our division ho could live with us when we go into one of those modes

Just saw that!! How can a goal where there wasn’t a single deflection or miskick be lucky? Think he’s on the bitter!!
