Leicester fans are as pissed off with Beckford as we are Rachbuka, I think they dropped him for the last game? I kind of hope he plays if he really is that off form. Without Lonergan and without Lees I do fear for us at the back, we are not going to keep a clean sheet so an early goal for McCormack is vital. A few hours after the Blackpool game I would have said we shall get stuffed, however this is proving to be a crazy league this season, I am going for a big prediction of 3-4 to Leeds with Kasper making a couple of howlers, what a perfect day that would be, not only can we rip the piss out of Leicester who will be here in their droves should they win but we can put to bed the Kasper is great or not great argument.
Morning all. Sunday's game could go one of two ways; we get a reaction to Wednesday & win 2 or 3-1, or the players role over & crumble with whoever plays in goal having a nightmare start. Obviously I hope for a gutsy up n atom approach. I also hope if Beckford is in their team, we give him a civilised welcome. He did do his bit for the team & get us into the championship. I also hope that if he scores, he doesn't celebrate just to show us he still cares. On the GK front, no idea whether we'll get anyone. He would have to be experienced & able to fit in immediately given that he wouldn't have had much time to get used to whoever we play in the back 4. We know Lees won't play. As someone else has said, it appears AOB might be coming back. Allegedly, he is now really fit and has been impressing in training. I'll believe it when I see it. As to who else plays, I really hope we see both Nunez and Sam somewhere in the team for Sunday. SG may not necessarily start with either, but both made a big impact when they came on against Peterborough. No reason why they couldn't do the same against Leicester. 3-1 Leeds, gutsy performance, faith restored. MOT
I reckon the game will go one of three ways! you'll either win lose or draw! (a draw looks likely to me! )
I used to sub for my school team in goal, though my best position was centre half (that was 20 yrs ago), but willing to give it a go in goal for Leeds if called upon
Predict a reaction after the last "match". My team would be: --------------------------Becchio------McCormack -----Sam-----------------Howson-------Clayton-----------------Snoddy -----White----------------Paddy--------Bromby-----------------Connolly --------------------------------McCarthy I would also like to apologise to Clive for forgetting the rule that says that for a player to be worth spending money on they must never have a run of poor form, ever.
McCarthy will start and O'Dea will miss out, according to the official site. Grayson mentions O'Brien, Bromby and Bruce but not Kisnorbo. I don't know whether to take that as 'Paddy's straight into the starting XI' or 'Paddy won't be considered'. I'm going to assume it's the former.
Where did you find that pic? I'd been led to believe that had been destroyed! Sadly, I've put weight on since that was taken.

Well it cant be any worse than Wednesday night..... Be nice too finish with 11 men.... Hope Beckford and kasper have a shocker and we win 2 - 0 (a clean sheet....never!!!) Also im in the Leicester end first game since getting back from Spain.....so i must be good....
Don't have a great feeling about this. We never win at Leicester, but hopefully SG can rally the players together. After a bad loss, we seem to always get a reaction from the players, and to be fair, most of our away performances apart from Southampton have been decent. We should revert to what brought our success last season - Becchio upfront, with either Howson or Nunez behind him, and the 2 midfielders holding, with Snodgrass and someone else out wide.
