you're a man after my own heart grizzly. the heartbreak of dayjur is only softened for me by viewing arazi on youtube. the way he arrives on the scene is like one of those crappy old George formby films where the racing is staged and looks so unrealistic and one horse slices through them. arazi does it for real. and while you're on YouTube, I'm no greyhound fan but the videos of scurlogue champ coming from miles behind while hundreds of people are singing 'duuuuuke' at him is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. beautiful stuff.
Have to agree with that - I'm no fan of the dogs but he was something else, quite literally coming from another parish. What happened to him in the race against Ballyregan Bob though? Took a wrong turn?
I don't think the Yanks enjoyed that one. Would be great if SYT could win one on dirt tonight. Zenyatta's heroic effort in 2010 will always be my 'favourite'. I'd given up hope some way from home and how she managed to get so close was beyond me. I am also one of the few who don't necessarily blame Mike Smith. I appreciate it wasn't the greatest ride ever but i think the circumstances were difficult and he was unlucky, which ultimately cost him the race.
