Although watching Liverpool last night towards the end of the match, what did Trent Alexander Arnold get his yellow for...seemed petty and random, or Ref was flustered?
Wycombe scored twice last night. Anybody know if a goal came from a set piece. Are we the only side not to score from a set piece yet of are we still sharing that honour with Wycombe.
I think their second goal might qualify although I'm not sure tbh. A free kick was cleared and fired back in.
That's a fair point but am sure they were in playoff last season so not sure if their position is a bit false and to be honest whole league is tight and any team that wins 2 on the belt jumps to play offs so there is not much to pick between any teams, I think Burnley are about the best side I have seen this season we could and probably should have won a fair few against other contenders who are at top of league, consistency will be the key this season and I think Huddersfields last few games they are showing improvement but I still expect us to play well and score. It will depend on our defense tonight. If we had our strikers in the last 4 or 5 weeks I believe we would be somewhere nearer the top of the table than the bottom so really this winter world Cup may well be in our favour this time
At this moment I totally agree, whilst results have not been the best I think we all know that some of the officialdom has been worse. Putting that to one side I think the performances of late have been encouraging and as it always seems to be in the championship a team seems to come haring up on the rails toward the end of season and our form and hopefully our team back to strength after the WC I think there is enough to suggest that team could well be us
