If it is a concussion, PL concussion protocols say he won't be allowed to play for six days So, Bryan to start on Sunday...?
Bentancur (and Kulu) and Lenglet must be feeling just that little bit sweeter after tonight. Weren’t required by their clubs, considered “rejects” by each of their fans, yet here they are playing crucial roles in helping Spurs into the CL knockouts whilst Juve and Barca crash out. Football, funny ol’ game.
Watching the highlights back, wtaf was our defensive plan for that Marseille corner?! I count 7 Spurs players, none of them looking at the 4 Marseille players behind them. It's all well and good scoring from more corners than ever before, but we also seem to be conceding more than ever!
Only conceded once in the PL this season from corners (and that was a shot near the edge of the box) .
I've just realised something ****ing hilarious: the goal scrubbed in the last minute against Sporting by that smug twat of a ref? If he let the goal stand, Marseille would be in the EL and Sporting would have propped up the group But because he spent so long with his Etch-A-Sketch to dick us over, it wound up keeping Sporting in Europe at Marseille's expense!
Never really understood the benefits of zonal marking to be honest. I’ve noticed a lot of teams don’t tend to put players on posts nowadays either, that used to be one of the most fundamental things I was taught as a kid in my Sunday league days, worked a charm so many times too, felt like an absolute hero if you were on post and cleared it, half the time you didn’t know anything about it either until your face started stinging!
One of these in the next round…won’t bother having a preference…it’s gonna be ****ing stress no matter who Club Brugge Borussia Dortmund Inter Milan AC Milan/Salzburg Benfica RB Leipzig/Shakhtar Donetsk
I know that Kanes was disallowed, but that's 3 goals in a week scored beyond the 90 mins, if nothing else we appear to have learnt a lesson from the stoppage time in Lisbon. We don't give up that's for sure.
