I’d usually be fine with a point away from home but I think we’ve gotta go all out for the win here. They’re bottom of the league currently…

    Totally agree mate.

Wherever we may finish the season we'll need to win a certain amount of games ...

... a win against a team that's already lost nine games should be a real target.

Go at them from the off. More than enough talent in our side to do some real damage.

    Ha’way the lads

This is the game I don't think we can say a draw would be good. Not many in this league but this is one of them.

Correct. Bottom of the league. A draw tomorrow would not be a ‘good point’.

Fair point, didn’t realise they were bottom if I’m honest.

That’s true but they’re in better form than we are and have only conceded 3 goals in their last 5 games…

I just hope Mowbray is positive and has us attacking from minute 1.

    We need a win.
We’re 2 points from the bottom 3 position, we have 21 and Wigan, 3rd bottom, have 19
A win could take us up to 12th.

    Exactly mate.

Wigan and Stoke are joint third bottom on 19 points.

They play each other so someone is picking up points.

A Sunderland win could see us four points off the play offs.

If Stoke lose at Wigan that would leave them in the bottom three.

After all of our injuries, and the disruption of Neil creeping away, I'd say that being top half, after 18 games, would be quite acceptable for a newly promoted team ...

... and seeing Stoke in a relegation place would piut the icing on the cake.

    Hope so. It's needed.

Sure I read that they have a couple of key players out too which will be a boost.

Iirc this is our first game against a team below us since the Boro away game so a positive result would be very nice and despite our missing big players we should still have enough here.
On another thought I was in the stands at Morecambe last night v Derby and it was a cracking game.
Morecambe's keeper saved two penalties, one each half inbetween which Morecambe took the lead before tiring second half and conceding an equaliser.
Derby sold out there away end and it was a cracking atmosphere, honestly thought Morecambe would get hammered, just shows you what hard work and endeavour can achieve. Sorry to go off piste.

Sorbs Thomas is out for them as is their first choice right back, we need to be on the front foot from the off here, draw isn’t a disaster but only IF we then go on to win Saturday and we all know nothing is guaranteed in this league

I feel a loss tonight and Mowbray will be under massive pressure after seeing they are bottom of the league. A few people I have spoken to are starting to turn. Let’s hope for 3 points.

The table doesn't really interest me until you get to teh last 10 games or so. Right now, it's about points accumulation and decent performances. Let's worry about what number is next to our name in March
