Max is just taking the piss and saving his tyres going the same pace as Lewis making them last to then end. The only way his tyres will drop off enough is by getting a puncture or an engine failure.

 

I'm pretty confident that somewhere some paint is drying... Maybe... Or maybe it's already dry... Pub?

 

Only to see an overtake on the outside like ‘il leone’ did all those years ago

Perez not getting job done is a hopeful positive.

Has closed in twice now without getting there.

It's softs now or never for red bull and I can't see it so this is down to whether the mediums fall away.

 

Max almost has a pit stop between him and Lewis!

 

If those mediums are going to crap out... They're going to have to go full on old school lemming off a cliff. Which isn't happening

 

Perez has done extra 2 laps from Max. Plus Perez been having to push more so if his go then Max could still be OK.

Not even sure why RBR are having Max push.... He's got this sewn up. Seems daft.

Just in case they need to change tyres they will have a full pit stop gat to Lewis.

 

They not going to need to unless they run them in to the floor.

 

Perez has given up. Gap to verstappen is not growing. Sliver of deluded hope still 8 laps left for tyres to implode.

Sadly it'll have to be a cliff verstapoen drives off.

 

Max can go a second a lap slower to save the engine and still win comfortably
