I remember Newcastle being top before adding Asprilla before falling away (Keegan's "love it" season).

I just don't see them lasting the course. Part of me wants them to because it'll be more interesting than watching Man City run away with it. Trouble is, that only leaves two CL spots got Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Spurs and maybe Newcastle to fight for.

I think you are right. Spurs are not great but will scrap. Chelsea look **** all season but are up there due to nobody else being any good.

Newcastle are only good for about 8th but sit in 4th.

Utd had a mare will the last few days of transfer window.

I really think top 3 is already now decided. City from arsenal with spurs trailing in behind.

4th will be just about on the 70 point mark but probably only need 65 points due to the rest being total ****.

Most of our main players are 30/31. We bought players around 23-25 initially with the aim of them peaking together, they did and it worked but we're on the other side of that peak now.

 

It's October mate. We know where Spurs often are in October and where they are come May. Ironically two seasons ago it was virtually the same script including Liverpool.

Tbf there is absolutely zero effort needed by Barca or his agent, he IS the key buy for Ten Hag. There's no doubt we wanted him and still do.
