Nige made some good comments here and relevant to our recent history * I don't believe in collecting players. Just because we might need to feel the need to. * Sometimes what you get in the management game is a protection and that is to try and fast-track to survive. * We'll improve when we can and when circumstances change and there is money to spend, we will spend it wisely. * The days of throwing money down the pan are over.
I get that, I believe his DNA is to build from the bottom which imo is right, but not guaranteed success....if you end up with quality players coming up through the ranks, the likely hood is they will either be snapped up or the players themselves will want to go to better clubs.. It's a bit of a catch 22......you need them for success, but they will only stay if you're successful.. I've said before, I think if you gave Nige a blank cheque book, he wouldn't know what to do with it!!
certainly did not spend huge amounts at Leicester City but by god he built a fantastic team. we can only dream of what he did at Leicester and as many Leicester fans have said give him time and he will turn u around.
