I remember when we went down in 2005, people were saying it was an overreaction to consider we would go down. Each week was like “yeah we were poor; but we will turn it around”. Exactly like now.
Only just seen the Liverpool score. As much as I want to enjoy it, I can’t whilst we are so **** and when it gives one of our likely relegation rivals an unexpected 3pts. Can’t see us doing similar against them in a few weeks either.
Completely agree Right now Leeds picking up 3 points isn't going to relegate us. Nor in fact do I desperately care about our current position (i.e. if we drop into bottom 3 or not). It's all about the points total. Are we on target to hit 40? (Currently.... no). When we get to the last 5 of the season, I'll be fully invested in relegation rival results
I know he scored, but I'm not sure how Rashford got MOTM. The reason why Utd won that was Dalot and De Gea.
I was talking about this to my borther-in-law on Saturday. I have a funny feeling about Klopp and would not be surprised to see the whole thing implode. They look miles off the pace for a European place with Arsenal looking like genuine challengers to Man City. At the moment I think Man utd, Chelsea, Spurs and Newcastle all look like they will finish above Liverpool. Not sure that this is a blip and perhaps more a sign of the fact that Liverpool under Klopp have peaked.
Agreed, Very tough situation for them if they don’t improve. There aren’t many better managers in world football (even if he is a moaning old bastard) But I can’t see them sacking him after all he’s achieved. Hopefully they keep on playing terribly. If we could take some points off them in a couple of weeks it would be decent
Obviously haven't learned from signing Coutinho. He's past it and injured all the time. What a stupid signing if true.
